In this session Matt Renfroe of the Florida Virtual School discussed how to keep today's online students engaged in their courses. He said that a combination of high-tech, standards-based curriculum and teacher invovlement can grab their attention and lead to success. Staff in the curriculum and instruction of Florida Virtual School shared best practices and considerations in K-12 virtual education.
Beth and I both attended this session. We headed back to the hotel after this. With a full day of sessions, were were ready for a break!
